OAC mailing box

Final piece of the OAC mailing box.

 
It's a mailing box for the citizens suggestions.

 >
It takes the shape of the existing furniture.

The closing key it set in the middle, as a "house window".

The piece is in varnished black MDF.

The paper is protected by the shape but gently escapes to be easy to take.

All can be opened for easy maintenance.

The open piece brings to our mind some kind of housing icon.

It's gently set above the floor to create a shadow.

The glass is embedded in the material, being easy to be replaced.

The "interior" space has some spatial qualities that remember other architecture projects, being part of the studio guidelines.

carpets

as another design game, we did 3 series of carpets.
the first one was called d'artagnan, as being "three in one and one in three", a carpet with cuts in it to expand and contract, a carpet with changing possibilities.
then we made the persa, a way of rethinking the persian rugs that we all love, with an actual twist.
and then we made the cow experience, now rethinking the classical animal carpets, bringing the origin to the actual days.
